I am a psychiatrist working for the US Department of State with responsibility for providing mental health services to US Embassy personnel and their families throughout West Africa.  I am based in Accra, Ghana and travel throughout the region from Mauritania to Gabon.  While my primary responsibilities are the provision of services to post personnel and their families, I also have an interest in learning more about the work of individuals and groups who are in the region.
