Shosholoza for Health is a manual for HIV prevention in the South African setting. The curriculum was adapted as part of the HIV in Psychiatric Institutions (HIPI) project, funded by the National Institute of Mental Health (USA). The Shozoloza for Health prevention manual for people with mental illness is accessible here.
A growing number of behavioral interventions for HIV prevention among people with mental illness have been developed and tested around the world. We will be providing examples of these interventions--some of which have been evaluated and others not. We invite you to share your work in this area, too.
